This page explains how users of Edupilot (Android package com.onetution.app) can request deletion of their account and associated personal data. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
How to request account deletion
Follow these steps to request that your Edupilot account and associated data be deleted:
- Send an email from the same email address linked to your Edupilot account to ankushkothiyal01@gmail.com.
- Use the subject line: Edupilot Account Deletion Request.

In the message, include:
- Your full name
- Your registered email address
- Your role (tutor or student)
- Your tuition or institute name (if applicable)
- A clear statement that you want your account and associated data deleted
- We may contact you to verify your identity before processing the request.
- After verification, we will delete your account within 30 days and send a confirmation email when deletion is complete.
Data that is deleted
When your account deletion request is approved and processed, we delete or anonymize the following data linked to your account:
- Account profile (name, email, user ID, profile photo)
- Authentication credentials stored by our systems for your account
- Role, tuition membership, and batch enrollment records tied to your user ID
- Push notification tokens associated with your account
- Doubt posts and replies authored by you
- Assignment or test submissions you uploaded
- Files you personally uploaded to cloud storage (profile images, submission files, and similar user-owned uploads)
- In-app preferences and session data linked to your account
If you are a tutor (institute owner)
Deleting a tutor account may also remove or disable the institute workspace you own, including batches, student enrollments under that institute, study materials, DPPs, assignments, tests, announcements, and meeting records associated with that institute, unless you transfer ownership to another team member before requesting deletion. Contact us if you need to transfer ownership instead of deleting institute data.
Data that may be kept
Some information may be retained after account deletion, as described below:

Processing time
- Identity verification: typically within 7 business days of your request
- Account and data deletion: within 30 days after verification
- Backup purge: residual backup data removed within 90 days
